Be a Nomad

Mar 17, 2025

When I was in grade 12, I had no idea how design was being taught. I was so confused to consider myself as a designer but apparently the life I wish to live, my likings, everything matched with the core behaviour of an ideal designer. So I just gave the designer tag to me. Of Course basic things are taught but the core value of a designer is something which I inherited through the way I lived my life, by travelling a lot. I am a person who likes to get different experiences. I never get frustrated for not getting things directly. I would consider myself trying different experiences before reaching the final outcome.

You can’t build experiences and interaction unless you have the bandwidth to sensitise them. Invest more in travel, finding new people and new places. Never stop exploring. Never put yourself inside defined boundaries. Try cartographing your map and expand its boundaries. Not just demographically, psychographically as well. Homecoming gravity always holds you back. Don’t stretch yourself. Just move and continue to pivot. Open mindedness is the key to resolve mental blocks. Frequency of the blocks can be reduced by coming up with more solutions. Radical thinking keeps your inner child active. I would like to understand how a child fearlessly get excited without understanding the consequences and I would like to do that consciously. Sounds weird but one day, I’ll live that kind of nomadic life.
