One at a time

Mar 11, 2025

The systems we built around ourselves work synchronously when the context is the same and asynchronously when actions are of different context. It's not about task prioritisation, it's about loving what we do. Eventually the prioritization lineup will be set after being confident about the fact that everything can get done within the time frame.

I was trying to understand how UI design systems work today. Each and every variation has been listed, adhered with high details provided in documentation. Though making UIs is nowadays considered to be a no-brainer job, understanding the thought put behind each of the styles and components is so fascinating. I felt embarrassed for making screens all these while without knowing the science & human factors behind aesthetics. Take one thing at a time, understand the reason for the existence of certain things, it adds dimension, awareness to our daily lives. Don’t delve deep into the process of questioning everything, it's stressful. Instead, have an opening question and learn more about it. Pivoting in between is again distractful. Finish it and go next so that the efforts don’t go in vain.

Its okay to go out of the ideal way to look at things sometimes. But be contextually aware. So that your end results have some purpose and validation to where it all gets started.
